Take last night at the VMAs, when Alex Rodriguez was very present as the doting boyfriend. Eagled-eyed red carpet followers saw him playing paparazzi on the red carpet, capturing photos of J.Lo in her gorgeous dress, and then watching with full-on grin on his face (and camera at the ready to record!) as girlfriend Jennifer Lopez rocked it onstage.

Jennifer Lopez did an amazing job performing decades of her hits after being awarded MTV's Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. Being the supportive partner that he is, A-Rod recorded the whole thing, with a grin on his face, all while doing his best to hold back tears as Lopez spoke about him during her acceptance speech.

When Lopez accepted her award, she took a moment to honor  A-Rod, calling him her "twin soul." She added: "My life is sweeter and better with you in it."

"I love you," Rodriguez mouthed from the audience, in response.

SWOON!

It doesn't get much more romantic than this.

Aside from this attractive and talented couple being clearly into each other, we're nothing short of inspired by their love being on full display in front of their colleagues and fans and the entire world.
